The Color of the Soul by: Tracey Bateman

This book is considered Historical Fiction.

I love how it interweaves flashbacks tying together lose ends that you would never have thought were there. A reporter is sent to take the memoirs of an old southern woman who it turns out she is in relation to him although he is African American.

As you read through the different parts of this story you will see how some tension still remains even as this reporter tries to dig deeper into his own family background not knowing that he is in the center of it all. It tells how God shows mercy and redemption while also healing family bonds.

I pray that your soul is blessed as you read through Author Tracey Bateman's book The Color of the Soul and in return maybe you may want to go beyond what is in front of you to the God-point of the novel.
