Today, we get to feature Volume Six of her series, "Becoming the Bride of Christ: A Personal Journey".  This is a 6 volume set with a Leader's Guide; 14 chapters spread across the volumes, with Volume Six containing Chapters 13 and 14.  The back cover of Volume Six has this to share:

"I saw a tidbit one day, of someone not understanding why anyone would sing of falling in love with God, or why anyone would sing of God desiring to love us. They asked if they should glorify God or send Him flowers. . . God says in Scripture that He longs to take us under His wings as a mother hen gathers her chicks (Psalm 91:4, Matthew 23:37). Becoming the Bride of Christ chronicles Marilynn's personal journey as she learn to live with God as unseen Husband and Father in the home. It's about learning to appropriate many Scriptural concepts that we've overly spiritualized, and bringing them down to where life is lived every day. This book can be read as an account of the lessons God's actively teaching her, or it can be engaged in as a personal or group Bible study. There is quite a bit of Scripture in every chapter, as well as questions to help a person appropriate these lessons into their own life. One of her goals is to share a story that men as well as women can read and glean from. Too often it seems presentations on the Bride of Christ have been geared toward women when Scripture says the Church, who is referred to as the Bride of Christ, is made up of men and women. Marilynn write from a women's perspective of course, but it's her desire that men will be able to gather helpful insight, not just women. After all, we are all called to live out the commands of Christ in our everyday life.

While reading this book the first thing that came to mind was a scripture. That scripture, in my opinion, sums up this whole entire book. That scripture is Ephesians 6: 12 " For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."(KJV). Hallee manifests spiritual warfare into flesh. We see Harmony and Steve have to battle against the spiritual wickedness which is a battle for the ages. Love's Eternal Breath by Naomi Rawlings

After Reading the 4th installment in the series, Love’s Eternal Breath…all I can say is..bravo. I loved it from beginning to end…The unexpected twists and turns especially when the odds are against Lindy, she thinks she is dying like her mother and she can't trust doctors any more, but she was steadfast, charitable, and just an all around wonderful woman. She overcame so much and was able to take a breath that lasted a lifetime indeed especially with Seth. The town was very interesting. Like any rural area everyone knows everyone and the old time doctor is the one that is trusted. It was the same in the book except the good old doc had a challenger in Seth. I love how God was with both Seth and Lindy helping to guide them on their journey. I love hwo this book showcases Love truly does heal all especially with God in the mix. Flight of Faith by Hallee Bridgeman

In the 7 th installment of the Virtues and Valor series we see a somewhat conclusion occur, although later the 8 th installment rounds up this series. We are introduced to Helen Mulberry codenamed Faith who is a young American pilot. She has spunk, a kind heart, and a will that is amazing. Through out her story you see her mature and come into her own. She truly has a heart of gold that makes you fall in love with her character.  Just so you are prepared…you will need a pack of tissues at the ready for Chapter 8. It caught me off guard but in away that was truly needed. A lot that happened in the other novellas(1-6) comes full circle. You will cry tears of joy and sadness then tears of joy again! In the end you see everyone come together, you see identities revealed, who each were before the war began and code names given. Overall, you see Faith truly grow over the course of her story from the Texas Tomboy to a woman who decided to listen to God and follow her true calling in l

Valor's Vigil by Hallee Bridgeman

This is the 8th and final book the Virtues and Valor series. Although I had a little trouble reading through this book, I did enjoy learning more about the other characters through Valor's point of view and learning more about Valor's family and upbringing.  In this book you get more background on Charlene Radden who we discover is actually married to Leopold Schafer codenamed Valor's father. Their storyline in the prologue was definitely intriguing! Throughout the book you get glimpses of the toll Valor's cover had taken on him. You also see how Valor overcomes those challenges in order to do what needed to be done to assist in ending the war. You also get to know the Virtues better and the men who assisted them during their undercover work. I love how Hallee in the Epilogue gave us a more in depth look at how Temperance was effected during her time as a Prisoner of War. Valor's story put to rest a lot of unanswered questions that may have came to your mind
