As always I love a good mystery mixed with a little romance and I guarantee you Summer Meadows will not disappoint.

In Fudge-Laced Felonies we go on a journey of finding out who a thief is, who loves who, and most importantly we see how God gives us the strength to overcome our fears for the greater good. That is exactly what Summer did.

In Candy-Coated Secrets we are taken into the going ons of a cardinal where although this time Summer did not seek a mystery it found her. At first I was confused as to why someone was out to hurt her but then everything that you thought you knew was dismissed as you got closer to the ending. The ending will leave you speechless and wanting to read it over again just to make sure you read it right the first time!! So hold on tight and read this amazing Christian Mystery because you will definitely thank me later for bringing this book to your attention!!

In Chocolate-Covered Crime it starts off with Summer planning her wedding like any other bride-to-be does but as you guessed it Summer isn't just ANY bride-to-be. Soon she is thrown into a mystery to solve a online-dating scam and the death of her friends and neighbors. I love how the author shows us how God loves us dearly even when our own family seems bitter towards us. The ending will leave you in tears as a surprise MAIN EVENT happens. So enjoy it with a box of chocolates!!

Finally, in the last book of the series, Maui Macadamia Madness, Summer is on her honeymoon FAR FAR away from home. SO you would think no one knows her there or the crimes that she has solved right? WRONG! So therefore the whole gang flies down to support her and help her solve this crimes before it is too late.  She ministers to the killer even though she herself was frightened and in the end God intervenes to save them all by using certain people.

 I truly pray that you will enjoy this Series by Author Cynthia Hickey as I did.

While reading this book the first thing that came to mind was a scripture. That scripture, in my opinion, sums up this whole entire book. Love's Eternal Breath by Naomi Rawlings

After Reading the 4th installment in the series, Love’s Eternal Breath…all I can say is..bravo. I loved it from beginning to end…The unexpected twists and turns especially when the odds are against Lindy, she thinks she is dying like her mother and she can't trust doctors any more, but she was steadfast, charitable, and just an all around wonderful woman. She overcame so much and was able to take a breath that lasted a lifetime indeed especially with Seth. The town was very interesting. Like any rural area everyone knows everyone and the old time doctor is the one that is trusted. It was the same in the book except the good old doc had a challenger in Seth. I love how God was with both Seth and Lindy helping to guide them on their journey. I love hwo this book showcases Love truly does heal all especially with God in the mix. Flight of Faith by Hallee Bridgeman

In the 7 th installment of the Virtues and Valor series we see a somewhat conclusion occur, although later the 8 th installment rounds up this series. We are introduced to Helen Mulberry codenamed Faith who is a young American pilot. She has spunk, a kind heart, and a will that is amazing. Through out her story you see her mature and come into her own. She truly has a heart of gold that makes you fall in love with her character.  Just so you are prepared…you will need a pack of tissues at the ready for Chapter 8. It caught me off guard but in away that was truly needed. A lot that happened in the other novellas(1-6) comes full circle. You will cry tears of joy and sadness then tears of joy again! In the end you see everyone come together, you see identities revealed, who each were before the war began and code names given. Valor's Vigil by Hallee Bridgeman

This is the 8th and final book the Virtues and Valor series. Although I had a little trouble reading through this book, I did enjoy learning more about the other characters through Valor's point of view and learning more about Valor's family and upbringing.  In this book you get more background on Charlene Radden who we discover is actually married to Leopold Schafer codenamed Valor's father. Their storyline in the prologue was definitely intriguing! Throughout the book you get glimpses of the toll Valor's cover had taken on him. You also see how Valor overcomes those challenges in order to do what needed to be done to assist in ending the war. You also get to know the Virtues better and the men who assisted them during their undercover work. I love how Hallee in the Epilogue gave us a more in depth look at how Temperance was effected during her time as a Prisoner of War. Valor's story put to rest a lot of unanswered questions that may have came to your mind
